This is a hotfix for Beta 1.2.10.
This fix fixes a bug that occurred during the import of files.
Please refer to the change log for b1.2.10, which was the primary update.
- Unmerge S4S Merged files
Files that were mereged using Sims 4 Studio can now be unmerged with the mod manager. Just open the file info and navigate to the new S4S Merged tab.
There is also a new subfilter for S4S merged files.
- New Fun Tool: Screenshot CC Detector
This tool was created from a rather silly idea of mine (that's why it's a fun tool).
Deleting CAS CC can be annoying. You see it in game, don't like it, but then you have to find it in your mod folder to delete it. It would be best if we could delete CC directly in the game. However, this is not possible. This tool is supposed to be a kind of workaround for that.
How does it work?
When the tool is started, the Mod Manager scans all CAS thumbnails it can find. Afterwards the tool waits for you to make a screenshot. Now just hover with the cursor over a CC ( until a green frame is displayed) and take a screenshot. The tool will now compare the thumbnails and display the CC found in a list. This way you can move, deactivate or delete it later.
Unfortunately, the tool does not always find the correct CC, as thumnails may not be available or similar.
On Windows, you can display an overlay to see directly whether the Mod Manager has found the right CC. Alternatively, this tool is also the first connected tool that can be used with the CC Swiper app.
- CC Swiper Update
The first update for the CC Swiper app has arrived. And with it also a small UI refresh in the Mod Manager.
The connection should now be more stable and easier to establish. In addition, all filter options are now directly in the app, so you no longer have to adjust anything in the mod manager as soon as the server is on.
The biggest new feature is the Overview tab. As in the Mod Manager, you can see all your folders and mods/CC here. Create new folders or manage your mod files (delete/move/deactivate...).
Why you want to do this with the app and not directly with the Mod Manager, I don't know 🤷♂️.
It was fun to develop and now it's here.
- Open file info from CurseForge files tab
You can now open the file info from the CurseForge files/version tab.
- New advanced option: Direct Delete
The mod manager is unable to move files to the recycling bin on some systems. These users can now try to use the Direct Delete option. If eneabled files are deleted directly. Files deleted this way can not be recoverd and will not be moved to the recycling bin. But it might help some users, who had problems deleting files in the past.
- Files are selectable in same file dup tool
You can now select multible items in the Duplicate File Tool (Same content), simular to Duplicate File Tool (Same filename).
- Wiki View in Mod Manager
You can acces the S4MM Wiki now directly in the mod manager (a internet connection is required).
- Anti Tags for Autorun Categories
There is now an advanced mode for custom categories. If this mode is enabled you can create negative tags. You can find more info about negativ tags in the side info panel.
- CurseForge Description weblinks
You are now able to click on links in CurseForge Project descriptions.
- CF Download indicator in navbar
When you download something from CurseForge the status and remaining items are now displayed in the navigation side bar.
- Translations auto update
If a translation is being used, the Mod Manager now searches at startup whether a new version of the translation is available. If so, it will be downloaded and installed. You can disable this option in the language settings.
- Loading Screen Tool works again
The patch that was release along side the "Life and Death" expension pack, brock most of the custom loading screen CC.
The tool is now updated to create loading screens that work with the current version of the game again. Also a thumbnail is now saved inside the package file.
- No downloads files checked for dups and conflicts
Files that were in your S4MM Downloads folder, but were not imported yet, were still considert in the duplication tools and conflict detection tool. This is now longer the case.
- Added new Kits & Packs in pack disable Tool
Since the last update a couple of packs and kits were released. These packs/kits are now included in the pack disable tool.
- Gamestate check performance bug
The mod manager checks in regular intevals if the game is open. This could leed to performance issues on weaker systems. I optimized the check and fix some bugs. The feature should now be more reliable and less performance intensiv.
- Page select all bug
By double-clicking on the number of pages, you can select an entire page. However, this did not work properly when the sort order was altered. This is now fixed.
