If there was a specific reason for uninstalling the Mod Manager, I would love to hear about it. I might be able to use your feedback to improve the Mod Manager for everyone.

¶ Uninstall
Uninstalling the Mod Manager requires 2 steps, as not all data is deleted during the normal uninstall process.
Close the program if it is still open.
¶ Uninstalling main programm
In general, you can uninstall Mod Manage like any other program. If you are unsure how to uninstall programs on your PC/Mac, take a look at the section for your operating system.
¶ Windows

Search for
Sims 4 Mod Managerin Windows Search. Right-click the Mod Manager and selectUninstall.

Find
Sims 4 Mod Manager <Version>in Programs and Features and right-click it. SelectUninstallagain

An uninstall wizard should open. Click on "Next" and wait until the uninstallation is complete.

Click on "Finish" to complete the uninstallation.
¶ Mac
- Open Finder and navigate to your
Applicationsfolder - Find the
Sims 4 Mod Managerand right-click it. SelectMove to Binto delete it.
Alternatively, you can simply drag the application into the bin.
¶ Cleaning up files
The first time you start the Mod Manager, it creates a data folder in your documents. All relevant data (settings, preview images, cache,...) is saved in this folder. However, this folder is not removed during normal uninstallation. That is why it must be done manually.
To do this, navigate to your documents with Finder (MacOs)/File Explorer (Windows) and delete the folder Sims 4 Mod Manager Data.
Default path:
Windows: C:\Users\<Your Username>\Documents\Sims 4 Mod Manager Data
Mac: /Users/<Your Username>/Documents/Sims 4 Mod Manager Data
